AccuDock is seeking motivated Sales / Business Dev. Rep

Responsibilities/Activities

• Research, find, and review project plans and specifications to determine project specific opportunities.

• Prospect/Network for new business, developing relationships with general contractors, builders, commercial developers, property managers, architectural/design community and others.

• Completes adequate cold and warm calls as specified by management and maintains database to track lead status

• Prepares and presents proposals in complete and professional manner, according to company standards. Follow-up on hard bids and offers value engineered solutions to customers.

• Maintains record and tracking of all proposals in progress and timely follows-up to maximize sales opportunities. Aggressively pursues all proposals in progress.

• Maintains a company-owned database of current customers, prospective customers and past customers to support the marketing and sales effort.

• To aggressively seek out and identify opportunities for new business, customers and market growth.

• Maintains existing relationships while also building new relationships.

• Maintains a market awareness of planned projects and bidding strategies.

Skills We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial/marine construction and/or experience as a salesperson/estimator

Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, preferred.

• Ability to multitask while managing multiple orders/customers in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, meet deadlines and follow through.

• Self-Motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Ability to stay motivated and focused through a multi-step sales process.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Must be fluent in spoken and written English language.

• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and communication skills.
