Allen Keeps Boatbuilders in Suspense

A low profile rail, running around the perimeter of the hull, supports heavy duty cars, fabricated from marine grade alloy, which can be locked in position and allow the user to move up and down. This gives the user safe access to the entire hull and superstructure, including while in the water, keeping both hands free and with the minimum of preparation, without the need for towers, ladders or additional access equipment. This saves money, time and risk. The system is available for OEM fitment by boatbuilders or as a custom retro fitted product using approved service providers.

The system is currently undergoing EN795 class D certification to comply with the Working at Height Regulations 2005, MGN 410 (M/F) The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Work at Height) Regulations 2010, and MGN. 422 (M).

Allen Brothers has over 60 years of experience producing high quality marine fittings, predominantly for the high performance sailing and marine leisure sectors. The development of the Maintenance Rail System represents a move into commercial marine fittings which will widen the company''s access to new international markets.
