With the eye-catching scimitar bow, reverse tumblehome and complex curves of Tim Heywood’s avant-garde design, EVENT sets a new benchmark for what is possible, what is desirable in modern luxury yachting. The owner took full advantage of the possibility to personalise the 60-metre to his own tastes and purposes, specifying a Touch & Go helipad on the foredeck, and the creation of a sun deck lounge, accessible from the central staircase. Enchanted by the shape of the scimitar bow, the owner commissioned Tim Heywood to design a tender that, when she emerges from one of EVENT’s dramatic gull-wing doors, echoes the distinctive look of the mothership.
