DOLPHIN PRO HD battery chargers receive DNVGL type approval for marine applications

Pegomas, France (March 30, 2015) REYA – DOLPHIN Charger has received the highly respected Det Norske Veritas (DNV-GL) type approval. This DNV-GL certificate further confirms the unit is suitable for use on-board marine vessels including Ships, High Speed & Light Craft.

The DNV-GL type approval assures potential users that the DOLPHIN PRO HD+ has undergone rigorous testing and has been determined to meet the highest quality standards. The DNV-GL assessment process is built upon marine electrical engineer and recognized by shipyards, electrical sub-contractors, and major clients throughout the world.

The DOLPHIN PRO HD+ battery charger is designed to perform as a battery charger / power supply for the demanding requirements of marine, oil & gas, off-shore and other DC applications.

Standard features include multi-stage charging, low output ripple, temperature compensation, protection, control information with unique 2.5LED HMI and Can Bus J1939, alarms contact.

These chargers are available in 24 volts DC output voltage with DC current output from 40 to 100 amps.

To achieve DNV-GL''s approval, DOLPHIN PRO HD+ charger was tested by international recognised laboratories in accordance with the standard set out by IEC 60335-1 & IEC 60335-2-29, low temperature & vibration tests in accordance to SfC No. 2.4 Class A, Humidity / Damp heat tests in accordance with SfC No. 2.4 Class A.
