New MTM400

Thanks to the important innovations introduced by the MTM400, first in the world to be equipped with a double set of springs, our series of mechanical seals is increasingly becoming a point of reference in the field.

Thanks to DEDaS, the new patented Microtem system, the MTM400 turns out to be the mechanical seal with higher resistance to shock and vibration on the market, shifting the functional limits beyond those which are already known by the market.

Thanks to these features, the series produced by Microtem, is becoming attraction for all major manufacturers of propulsion systems in the world, so that they are able to follow all installations "super critical", where traditional products are lacking.

So, after having been appreciated in the world of military boats and professional, the MTM400 series also overlooks the field of super luxury yachts.

Thanks to a recent collaboration with the prestigious Italian shipyard Azimut-Benetti, the MTM400 will be installed on the new line of the F-140, the famous Fast Displacement of the Benetti shipyards. The first of the four specimens under construction is to be delivered in these days.

Moreover, it should be emphasized the reduced axial dimensions of the series MTM400, which happens to be the most compact in the world, making it possible for designers to shorten the line of propulsion, recovering space to devote to the comfort zones for guests.

Last but not least, is the new "KRT1000" (Kit Repair Tool), designed to offer the possibility of maintenance of the MTM400.

Coupled to the barrier system Hydraulic Watershield, the KRT 1000 allows to perform the maintenance of the mechanical seal without decoupling the joint and without, above all, having to put the boat aground. The MTM400 Repair Kit, made in two halves, ensure you do not ever get stuck for damage of the seals. Due to the simplicity of the design of the KRT 1000 equipment anyone can do, safely, the reactivation of the seal as well as make sure of a new and perfect operation of it.

The MTM400 will be present at the SMM show in Hamburg (at booth A2.217 ) and at the next Euronaval 2014 show in Paris (booth J100), where you will be able to see the MTM400 operation on an appropriate dynamic bench specifically realized for the occasion.
