myNORIS reaches Japanese engine manufacturer

A few month ago NORIS introduced the new smart machinery automation myNORIS. Now they are glad to record inital success with it.

The first negotiations about the delivery of engine monitoring and safety systems for the Yanmar large engines series started in April 2016. Yanmar had already gained positive experience with the well-known NORIMOS 3000 system from NORIS in the past and was looking for a modern and cost-effective solution to monitor and protect their EY engines. They were convinced: myNORIS, the new smart machinery automation engineering concept was the solution. In December 2016, Mr. Peter Aarsen, President of Yanmar Europe B.V. and Mr. Ben Rietveld, Managing Director of Noris Benelux B.V. signed the contract. Later that month the new myNORIS LOP was examined and first tests could be made by technicians of Yanmar Europe B.V. in the company’s headquarters in Nuremberg. In January 2017 the myNORIS system was shipped to Japan for extensive tests on a 6EY22 engine. NORIS is confident and hopes to achieve a long-term cooperation with the Japanese engine manufacturer.
