Superyacht of the week: Baglietto's 46.3m Only One

Completed by the Italian shipyard Baglietto in 2015, the 46.3 metre superyacht Only One features both exterior and interior design by the renowned Francesco Paszkowski, who collaborated with Margherita Casprini on the latter.

Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she was commissioned by an Eastern European owner who was reportedly heavily involved with many of her design elements.

The main colour theme is warm and welcoming, utilising a range of neutral, soft colour shades, ranging from ochre to opaque gold.

On board she accommodates up to 12 guests in total over five cabins, including a large owner’s suite, in a traditional layout.

The four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, and consist of two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins, each of which include an additional Pullman berth to easily accommodate extra guests as and when needed. Each of the cabins are consistently decorated in the same sophisticated theme and palette as seen throughout the rest of the vessel.

The expansive full beam owner’s suite located on the main deck is undoubtedly, and naturally, one of the most opulent areas on board, and comes complete with a private office and luxurious en-suite bathroom. The space is characterised by large windows, which work to let in plenty of natural light, giving the space a light and airy feel.

Moving on to her other inside areas, a square staircase in the central part of the yacht connects her three decks. On the main deck, a large saloon is furnished with two comfortable sofas and a dining area, visually separated by a low cabinet that creates no barriers, letting natural light shine throughout the entire area.

The two sofas in the saloon are complemented by an additional two plush armchairs, surrounding a mirrored coffee table in a U-shape formation and creating the ideal space for family and friends to relax and entertain in both comfort and style. The wide dining table is lit by a Swarovski crystal chandelier, making the formal dining experience all the more special and contributing to the overall interior brightness.

The sky lounge on the upper deck features a home cinema system, while, outside, a large round table provides the ideal location for the very best of al fresco dining. A further space for enjoying al fresco dining is found on the spacious sundeck, in which is entirely devoted to conviviality and life in the open air.

Measuring 90 square metres in total, this area offers a large aft sunbathing area with loungers and sofas and a dining area shaded by the roll-bar and equipped with a bar unit, a barbecue, a grill, and a mini-bar; the dining area is directly connected to the galley by a dumb waiter.

The large and comfortable crew quarters can accommodate eight crew members over four cabins, and includes a small dinette, and the laundry, all located in the forward part of the lower deck.

Sure to be one of the most interesting aspects of Only One in regards to her owner, all decks feature private crew access, ensuring that the ultimate superyacht experience is easily achieved without sacrificing the privacy of guests on board. Furthermore, a second, larger, dinette is found on the main deck, beside the large galley, which is fully equipped to ensure world-class catering.

Twin CAT 3512B engines push Only One to a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with a transoceanic range of 4,500 nautical miles. She falls within the 500 GT category and will be classified in the BV top class and in compliance with MCA Standards.
