MAKO 334 CC DEBUTS AS NEWEST LUXURY SPORTFISHING ENTRY

Officials from MAKO, a legendary saltwater sportfishing boat brand, announced the arrival of a new era in its history. With the introduction of the 2017 MAKO 334 CC, MAKO anticipates exceeding the expectations of a group of very discriminating anglers who look for advanced design and sportfishing features as well as creature comforts and state-of-the-art technology.

Many legendary anglers contributed input to the design, including saltwater captain Terry Robinson. George Poveromo, host of George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing calls it the “most magnificent boat in MAKO history.”

With a ring-deck design, a port tuna door, massive amounts of storage and a triple-outboard capacity of 1050 horsepower, the all-new 334 CC lives up to the brand reputation as the perfect offshore predator. Designed with the quality, comfort and advanced technology that draws on a half century of boat-building expertise, the 334 CC provides both the ultimate sportfishing and family saltwater fishing experience.

“MAKO is designing and building some of the finest saltwater fishing boats in its nearly 50-year history,” said Johnny Morris, Founder/CEO of Tracker Marine Group and an experienced saltwater angler. “Whether you’re serious about offshore angling or serious about family fun, the MAKO 334 offers an incredible experience that sets the tone for a new era in MAKO’s rich history.”

At 33 feet 4 inches long with a 118-inch beam, the 334 CC features an aggressive deep V hull with notched transom and high-speed raw-water pickup. The console comes with Mercury Joystick Piloting for Outboards, Garmin electronics and a Fusion UD750 stereo.

Other features include a forward cushioned seat with a cooler, a folding aft bench seat, walk-in freshwater head, leaning post with freshwater sink, port and starboard aft fishboxes with Gulper Macerators, an aft port tuna/dive door and stowable dive ladder, and two 34-gallon pill-shaped baitwells with angles fills. The MAKO 334 CC has a fuel capacity of 306 gallons.

The innovative design is available in two models. The Bluewater Family Edition features bow seating, a stowable table/bow filler, and an auto-extendable aft sunscreen. The Sportfish Special Edition offers a recessed 292-quart coffin box and upper station with Mercury Vessel View.

It’s also backed by the best warranty in the boat industry – The MAKO 5+LIFE warranty – a five-year, stem-to-stern factory warranty that also includes a three-year warranty on the gelcoat finish, and a limited lifetime structural warranty.

The new MAKO 334 CC reflects an ongoing strategic commitment to deliver quality design and construction throughout the MAKO lineup. It is the first of three new MAKO designs to be released in the next 60 days. The 334 CC will make its debut at the Progressive Insurance Miami Boat Show and is ready for orders immediately.
