Get Your Wallets Ready: Project "VERTIGO" Is For Sale!

Currently under construction at Feadship is the 96 metre project Vertigo designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon with interior creative direction by Chahan Minassian of Chahan Interior Design.

Owner’s representative Peter Insull of Peter Insull's Yacht Marketing reports that this ground breaking project is now for sale, offering prospective clients a rare opportunity to own a world-class vessel that is built to the highest standards by the Dutch shipyard for an experienced owner with a trained eye for style. The yacht will be delivered within the first quarter of 2017.

Vertigo’s elegant and timeless exterior is the result of a seamless collaboration between the owner and British studio Redman Whitely Dixon. Her appearance is charecterised by grand sweeping curves and a functional deck layout to match. Typical Feadship elements such as the stretching flared bow have remained, which will ultimately serve as a helicopter landing pad with a dedicated hangar below able to store a Bell 429 helicopter.

“It is rare that one is so fortunate to be totally involved with a project such as Vertigo to the level and depth that I have been with this wonderful yacht.” says Insull. “The end result is becoming magnificent. Professionals from within the superyacht community are as one in declaring that Vertigo will become the next ‘Yacht of the Decade’.”

The hull line leads the eye down and aft towards the main deck aft where one finds an impressive 9m x 4m swimming pool. Toughened laminated glass panels were used to construct the pool and forms the ceiling of the beach club below.

Inside, Vertigo will be able to accommodate 18 guests and a crew of 34. The Paris-based interior design house Chahan Interior Design were appointed to create elegant and sophisticated interior spaces. Vertigo’s Owner has collaborated with Chahan Interior Design for many years on numerous projects. Open and uncluttered living areas adhere to the owner’s brief for space and comfort on board.

According to Insull, this is by no means the Owner's final superyacht project: “Happily this Vertigo will only be the first of more to follow. The Principal is determined to continue sharing his talent and vision through more yachts presently in the design stages.”

Azure Naval Architects were appointed as the Owner’s technical representative in the early days of the design development and remain as the on-site representative. The two MTU 16V 4000 M63L engines that are fitted will provide a top speed of 17 knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles on offer whilst maintaining a speed of 12 knots.
