Rossiter 17 CC

The Rossiter 17 CC’s hull design is unique to Rossiter with a focus on big-water performance, efficiency and ride.

Rossiter boats are known for quality workmanship in hand-laid, solid hulls with a molded, foam-filled stringer grid, and the use of structural closed-cell foam cores used where needed to provide the necessary panel stiffness in liners, decks and transoms. The only wood used are the teak accents in the interior cockpit area. Liners are bonded to the stringer grid, topsides and transom, independent of the deck assembly, which is glued and bolted to the sheer. This method provides a very solid feel to the boat, thus enhancing the ride delivered by the hull shape. The company is so confident of the quality built in to each and every hull, Rossiter’s Limited Lifetime Warranty assures owners of years of low maintenance fun. Measuring 17 feet, 4 inches with a beam of 7 feet, the spacious, versatile cockpit area offers comfortable seating for 7 people. Sufficient dry and drained storage accommodates storage needs, a variety of tops are available, and custom colors and hull side treatments are standard. The surprisingly soft, dry ride for a boat of its size offers the stability and sea-keeping cruisers expect from something much bigger. With only a single 90-hp engine, the 17 CC is quick to plane for cruising or water sports, even with full load, and has a range of 100 miles on 27 gallons of fuel at 30 mph cruising. An optional 115-hp engine delivers 48-50 mph depending on sea conditions.
