Horizon CC110 Superyacht Abaco Leaves Shed

The 32.82 metre Horizon CC110 superyacht Abaco has been pictured leaving her shed for the first time ahead of a planned February launch.

Styled inside and out by Beiderbeck Designs, Abaco was built for an experienced German client who has previously owned four other Horizon yachts.

The second hull in the Horizon custom collection, after the 2011 launch Lady Gaga, Abaco features a raised pilothouse design and near 360-degree visibility from all levels. Her voluminous main saloon features seating for up to 20 guests to starboard and curved wood cabinetry to port.

Accommodation is for six guests split between three spacious en-suite staterooms, including a main-deck owner's cabin that spreads across Abaco’s entire 7.62 metre beam, as well as two VIP cabins below decks. Aft of the engine room is the crew quarters, providing accommodation for a staff of up to three people.

Key features on board this all-GRP fast-planing yacht include a large superyacht sundeck, fitted with aft deck sun loungers and a central dinette shaded by a Webasto electric sunroof.

Tender storage is provided in the aft garage, which features a lowering platform that can be used as a swim platform as well as for launching the 5.1 metre tender. Power comes from a pair of 2,600hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines, which should propel Abaco to an impressive top speed, while zero-speed stabilisers will ensure a peaceful night’s sleep at anchor.

Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Taiwan-based yard include the 30.33 metre Horizon E98 Do It Now, which is due to be launched before the end of the year.
