Award for Fugro GeoServices

Fugro GeoServices has been awarded Gold Metal status in the 2016 UK Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards.

Gold Medals are exclusively awarded in recognition of consistent year-on-year success in gaining awards in RoSPA’s Achievement Awards category.

This is the eighth consecutive year that Fugro GeoServices has been merited with a Gold Award, leading to its recommendation by the RoSPA judging panel for Gold Medal status.

Steve Dadd, HSSE (Health Safety Security Environment) manager at Fugro GeoServices, said: “This award should be seen as a fantastic achievement. It has been made possible by the commitment throughout both the business and the Fugro Group to focus on health and safety and to continually strive for improvement.”

The judging panel is made up of eminent professionals and experts in occupational health and safety from the public and commercial sectors and also academia.

According to RoSPA, Gold Award winners have achieved: “a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.”

The company has over 500 staff based in four UK offices, providing ground investigation and asset integrity solutions on land and over water for energy, transport and other infrastructure clients.
