Devonport 160

Belgium based yacht design company Emocean have been asked by Devonport Yachts to create a new addition to their range of yacht concepts. Emocean is relatively new to the market, with just six people working for them, however, they still have a number of designs on-the-go ranging from an 8m tender to a 200-metre yacht.

Emocean were given a 'carte blanche' for this new concept, which could then potentially become a Devonport yacht after further development with the client's input. The resulting concept is the Devonport 160, a 165m design that can be pared down to other sizes according to the client's requirements. "We take pride in the fact that considering the sheer size of the vessel we have created a vessel which above all is elegant." say Emocean. Features of the Devonport 160 include a 360 degree observation deck, an underwater observation lounge, two 20-metre day boats, a helipad and hanger, as well as a mini sub and diving chamber.

The yacht will be able to accommodate up to 32 guests in 10 duplex cabins and five VIP rooms, with one deck being dedicated to the owner. A nightclub, private area, indoor pool and vehicle drive in garage are also featured on this yacht.
