Oceanco's PA076

As part of the Oceanco portfolio, PA076 is a 90m superyacht created by the shipyard’s in-house design team and premiered at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show. It has since been developed and will be presented, along with Sam Sorgiovanni’s new 119m concept, at the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Yacht Shows in 2011.

Like the newly announced PA146, the interior designer for the project has yet to be revealed. However, Oceanco has confirmed that the layout will accommodate 12 guests including the owner across two VIP, two double and two twin guest suites. The upper deck is completely dedicated to the owner and includes the master suite, with a his and hers bathroom, an office, library, gym and walk-in wardrobe. “On the upper deck forward, the owner can enjoy an outdoor private salon with a whirlpool and large sunbathing area,” says PR & Communications Manager, Paris Baloumis. “Aft is another comfortable salon and al fresco dining area for 14 guests.” A large pool is located aft on the main deck with a beach club and entertainment area. On the lower deck is a fully equipped spa, which encompasses a massage room, steam room, beauty parlour and a whirlpool.

The exterior incorporates a hidden and advanced mast concept, keeping navigation and communication out of sight, which the Dutch shipyard claims does not compromise functionality. When required, the main swimming pool can be converted into a helipad thanks to a pool floor that can be raised and “becomes flush with the teak deck and can even function as a large dancing area”. Additionally, the design team has provided enough space within the tender garage on the lower deck to fit tenders as long as 12 metres.

Working in collaboration with Azure on the naval architecture, the steel and aluminium structure will achieve a maximum speed of 20 knots from two 3,600 kW MTU 16V 595 TE 70 engines. PA076 will be compliant with MCA Large Yacht Code regulations, with the option of making the vessel PYC compliant, permitting additional accommodation for eight or more guests.
