South Coast marina operator Dean & Reddyhoff has purchased Hamble based marina, Deacons Boatyard.

Situated in Bursledon at the top of the River Hamble, the marina houses 130 berths. The purchase also includes the full service boatyard capable of storing up to 150 boats ashore. The acquisition takes Dean & Reddyhoff’s marina portfolio to five – the company already owns operations in Weymouth, Portland, East Cowes and Haslar.

Dean & Reddyhoff Managing Director Michael Prideaux commented ‘It is a great location on the River Hamble, and we respect the history and heritage. Deacons has developed a really good reputation for helping customers look after their boats, and will be a great fit with our existing marinas’.

Deacons was already offering boat yard services to Dean & Reddyhoff Solent based berth holders. From April 2017, Deacons annual berth holders will receive the same benefits as all the other Dean & Reddyhoff customers, including 21 free overnight visits to marinas within the group.
