Elan Power 37 to launch at Southampton Boat Show
The Slovenian manufacturer has confirmed that the Elan Power 37 will be making its way to the UK’s biggest boat show
Slovenian motoryacht manufacturer Elan has revealed plans for a new addition to its range of family sportscruisers.
The Elan Power 37 is due to be launched in September at the 2015 Southampton Boat Show with prices starting at £220,000 (including VAT).
Twin 300hp Volvo Penta D4 engines combined with a deep-vee hull, as designed by Tony Castro, should make for excellent seakeeping.
Below decks owners can choose between a two-cabin layout with two heads compartments, or swap the second washroom for a third cabin.
MBY editor Hugo Andreae expects that the latter option will prove highly popular in the UK. “It’s very rare to get three cabins on a boat of this size, particularly when it’s as pretty, sporty and good value as this,” he said.
Final tweaks are being made to the design, which we understand will involve a name change from Elan Power 38, as in the images above, to Elan Power 37.
What’s more, the interior is currently set to feature matt maple wood furniture. The Elan Power 37 will be imported into the UK by Norfolk Boat Sales, with the first models arriving in the summer.
