Perini Navi launches 56m motor yacht

Italian yard Perini Navi has announced that it has launched its new-build 56 metre motor yacht.

The shipyard posted a video online of the yacht hitting the water for the first time in Turkey and revealed it is due to be transferred to the company's Italian yard.

Built from a steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure, the tri-deck design features a five-cabin layout and accommodation for up to nine crewmembers.

Lamberto Tacoli, chairman and CEO of Perini Navi, previously said the sale of the superyacht, which was announced in October 2017, “confirms the effectiveness of the path we have chosen and the value of the process of focusing on our products and the quality that distinguishes them.”

“The market is beginning to grow again and Perini Navi is and wants to continue to be among the key players worldwide," he added.

As the below image shows, the motor yacht involves an enclosed skylounge and floor-to-ceiling glazing on the top three decks. Al fresco relaxation spaces are plentiful with a sheltered cockpit, circular upper deck dining area and a sunbathing area complete with superyacht spa pool.

Further details are few and far between, with the engine installation and estimated performance figures undisclosed at this stage, but the yard added that the new yacht will follow in the wake of the 49.5 metre Exuma, 55.2 metre Galileo G and the 73 metre Grace E — all of which were designed by Philippe Briand Naval Architects
