The Sea Blade X line is now in production at Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, with the first boat due to debut in Spring 2019.
Designed and engineered by Navatek Ltd of Hawaii, the first of the new Sea Blade series is the SBX36. The 36-foot centre console is built of fiberglass and foam core with a T-top and inflatable hypalon perimeter tube.
Front Street Shipyard stated: “We’re excited to have this new partnership with Navatek Ltd,”adding that “the Sea Blade is a yacht-quality, versatile vessel built on the best-performing rough-water hull ever engineered.”
The Sea Blade line is engineered to perform smoothly on open ocean and features an extra-deep-V and stabilizing stepped hull to reduce stress on the bodies of Naval operators. The hull design is derived from Hawaiian law-enforcement boats.
SBX36 can be fitted with two Yamaha 300 V6 outboards or two Mercury Verado 350 V6 outboards. It has a fuel capacity of 300 gallons.
