JOHNSON YACHTS LAUNCHES JOHNSON 70

Ship builder Johnson Yachts, has introduced its latest model, the Johnson 70, with the exterior design by Bill Dixon of Swanwick-based Dixon Yacht Design.

The superyacht has an 18.25ft beam which offers a choice of three of four stateroom and can be designed to accommodate optional features such as skylounge or fishing cockpit.

Interior design is by Hull No.1 using a concept created by Design Unlimited and provides a mix of fabrics and materials.

Peter Chang, general manager of Johnson Yachts said: “With the design and engineering of the Johnson 70 – together with Design Unlimited and Bill Dixon – we have a yacht designed to be versatile.

“We want to create a new line of yachts that sets the trend rather than follows it.”
