Revealed: The Ocean Queen 150 yacht from Ocean King

Italian yard Ocean King has revealed its latest custom superyacht model: The Ocean Queen 150. With her design focused on her future owner's enjoyment on board, rather than the explorer capabilities of the yard's previous models, the Ocean Queen 150 concept is a sub-500 GT tri-deck motor yacht in steel and aluminium.

On board, she would accommodate 12 guests across six staterooms, with a crew of nine also housed on board and a separate captain’s cabin on the wheelhouse deck. Her accommodation would include a generous full-beam main deck master suite with adjoining private convertible office and cinema and his/hers bathrooms complete with showers and a corner tub.

Thanks to her large deck spaces and saloon areas, the Ocean Queen 150 would contain numerous separate dining and lounge areas.

Her beach club would offer on the water access and also doubles as storage for a seven-metre tender and 2-3 jet skis.

Developed in conjunction with the Venetian design studio, Watermark Design, her interiors are described as "modern Italian-themed" with the dark wood and leather panelling complemented by the use of light floorings and ceilings.

As for her power, Ocean Queen 150 would be able to reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and cruise at a comfortable 13 knots, thanks to her twin Caterpillar 1650hp engines. In addition, with her 70,000 litres of diesel capacity, the Ocean King 150 would also boast an ocean-crossing range.
