First look: Onboard the 33m Mimi La Sardine as she prepares for charter

After her launch in October last year, the 33.1-metre Mimi la Sardine from the Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche is preparing for charter. More details have been revealed onboard the fifth hull in the Nauta Air 110 series, which features exterior and interior design by Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino of Nauta Yachts and naval architecture and engineering by Hydro Tec.

In her latest photoshoot, the “contemporary interpretation of the explorer yacht design” is made evident. The use of large windows throughout the three decks helps to relate the exterior and interior spaces, as well as her stern terraces.

Mimi La Sardine has multiple social and lounging areas which are decked in luxury materials such as natural and weathered oakwood with muted gold accents and Bianco Galizia granite. All the furniture onboard has been sourced from notable Italian brands.

Up to 10 guests can be accommodated across four double staterooms, not including the owner’s apartment, located on the main deck forward. The pool on the sundeck, main saloon and upper saloon with a formal dining area can be enjoyed by all those onboard whilst being tended to by a crew of up to six.

The accompanying tender is stored on the upper deck aft, which is an area that can be converted into an open-air lounge area shaded by the sun deck. Mimi La Sardine can be powered up to a top speed of 13.5 knots thanks to her twin CAT18 Acert 533kW engines. She also has a range of 5,500 nautical miles when cruising at 9 knots and will be available for charter through Ocean Independence in the spring.
