GLOMEX SIGNS WITH BARRUS

Barrus has added Glomex Digital, Promarine and Supergain products to its portfolio.

“This exciting new range of digital products has enormous potential within our core market, and we are delighted that the Glomex team has identified Barrus as the best partner for the job,” said Ben Allen, E P Barrus marine leisure division general manager.

“As technologies develop and become more challenging it’s important to have similarly minded organisations who can unlock the full potential.”

The Glomex Digital products are WeBBoat, CamBoat and Zig Boat.

Communication

WeBBoat is a coastal internet system for boaters to surf the web at high speed up to 20 miles offshore.

CamBoat is a high definition video surveillance system so boat owners can monitor the area remotely from anywhere at any time without the use of clouds or subscription and Zig Boat is a wireless remote monitoring and interactive system for a boat with no monthly fee or subscription.

Promarine antennas are designed for commercial and workboats and the new Supergain range of antennas - including TV and VHF marine - have been developed for all types of boats.

Glomex was founded in 1984 and has produced marine communication and entertainment antennas for more than 30 years.

The entire range of Glomex products - both digital and analogue are available from Marathon Leisure. The digital products will be available from Barrus from April 2 2019.
