Bénéteau and Hardy to star at Fox’s Marina open weekend

Fox’s Marina in Ipswich will be displaying a Bénéteau Swift Trawler 34 and a Hardy 42 as part of its annual open weekend

Fox’s Yacht Sales has moved its annual open weekend to Fox’s Marina, and a wide selection of new and used boats will be on display from April 25-26.

The free-to-attend show, which has been based at Shotley Marina for the past two years, should attract more than 200 visitors to the Ipswich brokerage.

Models available for viewings at Fox’s Marina range from the Bénéteau Swift Trawler 34 to the Hardy 42 and from the Trusty T28 to the Bénéteau Antares 7.80.

Used boat buyers can also peruse the brokerage’s entire collection of second-hand models, which will be moored both on the water and on land.

Jacqui Kotze from Fox’s Yacht Sales told MBY: “This last two weeks have been crackers – as soon as the sun comes out people start thinking about boating, so hopefully this show can give us a bit of a boost.”

She added that the Swift Trawler 34 is likely to prove particularly popular amongst visitors to Fox’s Marina.

Food and drink will be provided by Fox’s Yacht Club between 1000 and 1600, while free parking is provided on site.
