BAE San Diego gets $35 million for LSD 45 PMA

BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, CA, is being awarded a $35,139,444 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee/incentive-fee contract (N00024-12-C-4403) for USS Comstock (LSD 45) fiscal 2015 phased maintenance availability (PMA).

A PMA includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship's military and technical capabilities.

Work will be performed in San Diego and is expected to be completed by February 2016. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $35,139,444 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
