Ro-flo launch of the 55m '180 Amels'

The Dutch shipyard Amels has launched the 55m 180 Amels in Vlissingen, Netherlands.

The 55m Limited Editions is one of the eight new superyachts currently under construction at Amels. Featuring dark blue paintwork, 180 Amels was launched via the so-called Ro-Flo method. It is a special launching operation and the 55m Limited Editions is the 30th yacht successfully launched via Ro-flo method since 2007.

The Limited Editions range also includes the first 74m Amels 242 and the first 83m Amels 272, both scheduled for delivery next year.

This month, Amels also delivered the superyacht Madame Kate. Launched in February, the 60m yacht is designed by Tim Heywood Design. Madame Kate can accommodate up to 12 guests and develops a maximum speed of 16.5 knots
