The 32nd International Boat Show Palma begins today

Starting today and lasting five days, the 32nd International Boat Show Palma has kicked off. A total of 117 boats up to 30 metres will be hosted at the Moll Vell of Palma, as well as 63 yachts including the 52 metre Mondango.

Ahead of the Show, Minister of Economy and Competitiveness of the Balearic Island, Joaquin García, revealed the budget for the event as €450,000. He stated, “This event is financed by the private sector and visitors, who pay €5 per ticket to visit it. This means that there is no public cash destinated to the Boat Show Palma.” García continued to state that the number of visitors expected to attend this year will exceed last year’s 36,000 visitors by 4,000 additional people.

Furthermore, 3,000 brands and companies from all over the world will also be in attendance - an impressive increase of 75% since 2012. The Show will conclude on 4th May.
