An important event you can't miss.

UK, London. In less than 20 days, the world's leading names in superyacht design, architecture and construction will descend on London for the second edition of SuperyachtDESIGN Week.

This dynamic and entertaining three day programme, which will be held at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour on 24-26 June, will welcome the senior management and design departments from the world's leading shipyards including Feadship, Lürssen, Oceanco, Abeking & Rasmussen, Blohm+Voss, Hodgdon Yachts, McMullen & Wing, Sunreef and Benetti.

Joining these cornerstone yacht builders is a long list of designers who will be invited to share their thoughts on a number of topics including the future of design, materials, architecture and lifestyles. Among those set to attendance are Terry Disdale, James Claydon, Martin Francis, Fiona Diamond, Rob Doyle, Tony Castro, Rob Wetzels, Marnix Hoekstra, Cor D. Rover, Marco Casali, Greg Marshall, Jaron Ginton, Pieter Van Geest and many more.

“It is very important to have events like this one,” said keynote speaker at SuperyachtDESIGN Week 2013, Rabih Hage. “We live in a communication age where you can send emails and so on, but there is nothing that can replace the face-to-face, human interaction that takes place when surrounded by a group of people all interested in the same topic. It is all about exchanging knowledge [and so events like this] are very important.”

SuperyachtDESIGN Week promises to be bigger and better in 2014, offering a relaxed atmosphere filled with stimulating yet fun conversations, and a social programme that will set the tone for the summer.
