A new Bering design is riding the waves

This luxury motor yacht is the culmination of strong points from the company’s previous models. That’s the principle of calling oneself into question: Bering Inc. doesn’t shy away from a challenge, and that’s why we love their luxury yachts!

The Bering 77 has displaces 364,000 pounds and has many features that are reminiscent of previous Bering designs including a protuberant bow, hard chined hull sides and twin gondola skeg underbody. Her bow is very high off the water and prominently features two large pocket anchors tucked into the stainless steel backing grill. This impressive bow height translates into a dry ride and allows for a headroom of more than 7’2” throughout.

Everything aboard has been conceived to offer large, comfortable living spaces with expansive deck space and a sizeable saloon with integrated outboard seating and a large dining table. The cockpit aft has been raised for better visibility and even includes an outside seating area.

The engine room houses stacked generators and twin Cummins engines in the deep gondola skegs. There is a large sea chest forward on centerline and accessing the machinery for service has been made easier. The Bering 77 has a maximum speed of 11 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots. At cruising speed, the yacht can travel continuously for several weeks nonstop thanks to its range of over 4,000 nautical miles.
