Van Diemen Luxury Craft’s convertible superyacht tender offers two tenders in one

Van Diemen Luxury Craft is based in Australia and specializes in custom superyacht tenders. Most recently the company launched the Sports Limousine, a 7.5-meter convertible superyacht tender whose unique design converts from a limousine to a sports tender in less than 30 seconds. Thanks to a patented roof and window system, the Sports Limousine offers three different positions: Sports position, Limousine position and Stowed position.

When in Sports position, the roof is fully lifted, which makes it ideal for fair weather cruising and sports pursuits. The windows in this position can be fully lowered, fully lifted or partially lifted to provide weather protection. In Limousine position, the roof is lowered and the windows are fully raised to create a comfortable cabin that keeps the interior dry during inclement weather. Finally, the Stowed position lowers the windows and roof to the height of the gunwale, keeping the interior dry while transiting at speed.

Inspired to overcome the size limitations of a tender bay, the Sports Limousine is exceptionally versatile with its roof system that allows for a large boat to be stored in a small bay. And if it doesn’t fit, it can be easily towed with minimal drag and maximum efficiency.

The Sports Limousine can host up to 10 guests as well as 2 crew. Equipped with a 260 HP Volvo Penta common rail diesel engine with duo prop stern drive, the tender can reach a maximum speed of 35 knots, and when at a cruising speed of 25 knots, it has an impressive range of 280 nautical miles.
