Don’t worry, we came back from Miami International Boat show with a little gadget that might be just what you need. Indeed, among the awesome electronics presented there, FLIR‘s new MD-Series caught our attention. Thanks to these fixed-mount thermal night vision cameras you’ll be able to see vessels or obstructing objects in the dark. Due to its small size (7 inches tall), the camera can adapt to almost any boat. The FLIR MD-324 feature 320×240 standard-resolution, 24-degree field of view, and 2X e-zoom, while the MD-625 features 640×480 high-resolution, 25-degree field of view, and 2X and 4X e-zoom. They can easily be displayed on any monitor thanks to ethernet-enabled integration.
