A perfect "picnic on the sea" ride!

Cars are getting electric, houses are using solar panels, so why should boats stick to fuel and not join the ride for more sustainable energies? This was one of the main questions the Dutch shipyard Supiore had in mind. And we can conceide that few efforts have been made in that direction so far.

But Supiore is about to help redress the balance a bit with the Uno. This luxury powerboat will be fully electric and it will also generate very few waves and ensure optimal stability thanks to its unconventional shape. These lines also make it unsinkable and virtually maintenance free. Regarding the electric motor, one of the main perks is its quietness. Thanks to microprocessor technology providing an efficient and economical drive, its speed won’t exceed 10 knots which also means you don’t need a license to drive it.

The solar cell foredeck can charge 5% of the batteries per hour in full sun and 20% when wall plugged. Another good news is the foredeck’s design ensures the charging of the batteries will only slightly decrease if you lay on it. With a large folding table, a barbecue, a sink and a water cooler, the Uno will be the perfect “picnic on the sea” ride!
