Lurssen's Azzam takes the cake

Lurssen has done it again. They have officially created the world’s largest private yacht. At 180 meters, Azzam beats out the competition by almost 20 meters. And if that weren’t enough, the vessel’s two diesel and two gas turbine engines, connected to four pump-jets, produce an output of 70MW, giving a top speed of over 30 knots. Impressive? Definitely. With an interior design by Christophe Leoni, the yacht also boasts a main salon that measures 29 meters by 18 meters. She was delivered to her owners on September 9th, 2013.
