A new express-cruiser from the BENETEAU group
With a hull that has been dubbed the ‘wave-splitter’, how can you go wrong? The answer: you can’t. Monte Carlo Yachts’ MC5 is the result of a collaboration between naval architects Tanguy Le Bihan and Patrick Tableau. First presented at Boot 2013, it was love at first sight. So why the excellent nickname? Well, the hull’s stem is extremely narrow, allowing it “slice” through waves, no matter how rough the conditions. In addition, owners can choose to equip the boat with a Volvo IPS 500 or Volvo IPS 600, meaning the MC5 offers outstanding performance. We told you that you couldn’t go wrong!
