JUBILEE SAILING TRUST TO SAIL IN RIO FOR THE 2014 WORLD CUP

An unusual crew crossing the Atlantic

Who wouldn’t fancy crossing the Atlantic ocean from England to Brazil on a tall ship, spending a while sailing around the Brazilian coastline and finally attending one of the first games of the 2014 World Cup? The crew of the Lord Nelson will live this dream from April until June. The beauty here is that the British charity Jubilee Sailing Trust will give a chance to both able-bodied and disabled crew members to sail this beauty! Indeed, unlike most boats, the Lord Nelson is one of the two accessible tall ships in the world, giving everybody a chance to actually sail it. No doubt that this already thrilling trip will become all the more exciting when visiting the various Brazilian towns along the coast as the pitch fever slowly grows. But one might be worried about this “inexperienced” crew. Well, they happen to be the first mixed ability crew that has ever passed the feared Cape Horn, so the only concern might be how much fun they will have?
