MANUFACTURER SPOTLIGHT: BOSTON WHALER

The Unsinkable Legend™ is heading to Paris!

We’re pretty confident that you’ve heard of Boston Whaler. Founded in 1958 by Richard Fisher, Boston Whaler gained notoriety for the absolutely unsinkable nature of their boats, a defining characteristic that continues to present day. For over fifty years, the brand has been creating exceptionally safe and thrilling vessels for fishing and cruising.

We wanted to spotlight Boston Whaler prior to the upcoming Paris Boat Show where the 210 Dauntless and 240 Dauntless will be making their European debut. They will also be presenting the award-winning 230 Vantage, which we are thrilled to see, so let’s take a closer look:

With a standard 200-hp XL L4 DTS Mercury FourStroke Verado motor, the 210 Dauntless provides both speed and stability. The 284-liter fuel tank and exceptional storage space mean that you can cruise and fish without sacrificing space, and an optional All Activity Tower® also means that you can wakeboard to your heart’s content. At 6.24 meters long, the 210 Dauntless is durable, versatile and can fit up to 8 people.

As versatile as the 210, the 240 Dauntless offers the same optional All Activity Tower® for water sport enthusiasts, while features like the foldout aft bench with reclined backrest make it extra comfortable. Everyone will love the generous storage, and anglers can opt for the reversible pilot seat with livewell, pedestal fishing seats and trolling motor panel. The 240 Dauntless is available with a standard 225-hp XL L6 DTS Mercury Verado FourStroke engine with power steering and is slightly bigger than the 210 at 7.29 meters, fitting up to 9 people.

Finally, Boston Whaler will present the 230 Vantage, which won an NMMA Innovation Award in 2013 and has been nominated for European Power Boat of the Year in 2014. Available with a standard 225-hp XL L6 DTS Mercury® Verado engine with power steering, the 230 Vantage comes with a watersports tower and tow bit. It offers an innovative dual-console layout and convertible port lounge seat that faces forward or backward. Equipped with a sink with drain, cutting board and 36-quart cooler, the 230 Vantage also offers an optional fishing package that includes a 14-gallon livewell, a raw-water washdown and transom-mounted rod holders.

Don’t miss Boston Whaler at the Paris Boat Show from December 7th to 15th: Hall 4 / Stand number B 52!
