Azimut to unveil 95RPH superyacht at Cannes boat show

The first model from the Italian yards that was presents at Cannes Yachting Festival

Azimut is using the Cannes Yachting Festival in September to unveil three new models to the world – the Grande 95RPH, 77S and 50 Fly.

The most interesting launch for Boat International is undoubtedly the 29 metre Azimut 95RPH, which becomes the first model from the Italian yard’s Grande Collection to hit the water.

Designed outside by long-standing Azimut partner Stefano Righini, the yacht remains recognisably an Azimut, but has a very modern edginess that is likely to divide opinion on the pontoons.

Some great features are immediately noticeable, however, such as the bulwark cut-outs to improve views from inside and a flybridge extending almost to the transom to provide a whopping 60 square metres of room on the top deck.

Inside, the design from Studio Salvagni Architetti has provided four VIP cabins in addition to the full-beam master cabin amidships.

The 23 metre Azimut 77S is being called the ‘jewel in the S collection’, Azimut’s line of yachts that offer a bit more oomph than your regular cruiser.

The company has reported that four units have already been sold, setting this model up for bestseller status. Triple Volvo IPS units provide the power, promising fuel efficiency alongside plenty of poke.

Lastly, the 15 metre Azimut 50 Fly is set to turn a few heads with its claimed best-in-class flybridge, with interiors by Carlo Galeazzi offering a restful, comfortable family environment.

Azimut said: ‘With stylistically perfect lines and innovative technology, the boats Azimut Yachts is unveiling at Cannes once again highlight the Avigliana boatyard’s commitment to demonstrating Italian manufacturing excellence – both nationally and internationally.’
