Seawork sold out

Seawork International, Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition held in a working port, has announced that the event’s exhibition space is now fully sold out.

Anticipating upwards of 7,500 visitors, Seawork, which will be held between 16-18 June at ABP Port of Southampton, UK, will be the largest to date with 611 exhibitors are due to attend, displaying around 5,000 products and services, and 62 vessels.

Seawork’s exhibitors represent a broad spectrum of offerings; from vessel building, hydrography, coatings, deck gear, professional training, diving, brokerage, renewables, through to vessel security; ensuring there is something for all businesses.

Many exhibitors use the event to launch their new products; including the new technology behind Voith’s Linear Jet, Gobbler Boats’ new oil-spill response vessel, Maritime Partner’s Alusafe 1100 Interceptor and the debut of Tudor Streamline Services’ Duplex silicon fouling release coating.

The Port of London Authority (PLA) will unveil its new 36-metre vessel, the London Titan, built at a cost of £7million, which will be available for viewing for the duration of the exhibition.

In addition to the exhibition itself, there is also an on-site three-day Seawork Conference, sponsored by logistics firm Peters & May. Hosted by the UK Marine & Coastguard Agency, CTruk, Tuco Group, Palfinger, and the National Workboat Association, sessions will be held on topical subjects including; benefits for businesses collaborating with research centres and universities, the use of catamarans for windfarm access, plus hybrid systems for 6-24metre craft.
