New 100ft carbon race superyacht COMANCHE launched by Hodgdon Yachts

Racing yacht Comanche was commissioned by Jim Clark about a year ago. With black and red paint, the vessel boasts an impressive beam of 30ft.

The build of Comanche was completed by about 60 workers in only one year. The hull was constructed at the Hodgdon Yacht facility in Boothbay, while the mast and keel were built by the companies from New Zealand and Italy, respectively.

Luxury yacht Comanche was constructed with aerospace technology that comprises the usage of pre-impregnated composite fibres, “pre-preg,”. The vessel is expected to break records in the upcoming races, also thanks to this advanced technology.
