CANNES 2015: DE ANTONIO YACHTS PRESENTS THE D43

The shipyard's largest model to hit the water in Cannes next month

De Antonio Yachts is a Barcelona-based shipyard founded in 2006 by Marc de Antonio and Stan Chmielewski. Their first design, the D23, stood out from the crowd with its angular lines, high-tech materials, sophisticated finishes and optimized deck space. In early 2015, the company announced the expansion of its range with four new models that built upon the original’s unique design including their largest model and latest icon: the D43.

The D43 offers the efficient, modern design of the smaller yachts in the range with more space and speed. Also like the other models, the deck space is impressive with two large sundecks at the aft and a modular seating area where twelve passengers can comfortably dine. The hardtop can be upgraded with carbon fiber and a sliding roof can be added along with an optional aft swing gate, which seals the cabin off entirely.

At 13.3 meters, the D43 is perfectly livable. It comes standard with a master cabin, a suite, a saloon and a galley, but if sleeping space is what you are after, an optional second configuration comes with three bedrooms, a master suite and a twin room – at the expense of the galley and saloon. Three different interior finishes are available: Standard, Sport or Classy. And the fanciest clients can add a touch of Missoni to the interior.

The model comes standard with twin Volvo P. D6-370 engines, but several options are available including twin 575kW Volvo Penta D9s which give a top speed of 45 knots.De Antonio will be presenting the D43 at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival in September along with the D23 and its new midrange model, the D33.
