CRN’s 55-metre Atlante on the water

Striking Nuvolari Lenard styling makes the steel-and-aluminium 55-metre Atlante difficult to avoid

The owner – who was deeply engaged with the project – wanted a yacht with a strong masculine touch, and Nuvolari Lenard has delivered with a yacht that has echoes of a military vessel. A key feature of CRN’s 55-metre Atlante is the open spaces on deck – the clean foredeck area is particularly striking.

The interior by Studio Gilles & Boissier Interior Design is just as engaging as the exterior. The greys and metallic colours of the hull and superstructure are also found in the interior, where Carrara and Verona marble, smoked oak, brushed fir, black oak and larch are the main materials.

Boarding is through the beach club, an area equipped with a solarium and sunbathing area, as well as two balconies over the water: the first from a space with a massage bed and a Turkish bath, the second with a dedicated gym. A staircase in grey Carnico marble and teak leads up to the main deck area aft – a multi-purpose space that transforms from a technical zone to a living space, a sociable daytime area and a huge evening cinema. The owner’s suite is forward on the main deck and has a dedicated office, while on the upper deck there is a six-metre sliding glass door to the salon and two big dining tables on deck that can be raised for big dinner parties, or can disappear into the deck.

The sundeck has been fashioned as a relaxation zone with a sunbathing area that has an electrically manoeuvrable sunshade, and a pool forward. The yacht sleeps 12 guests and 13 crew.

There is plenty of seating aft on the upper deck
