A small and floating sonar to improve your fishing
Smartphones can help you do anything nowadays, and they’re getting more useful on a boat! We’ve seen how your phone could become a real weather station, now it can become a sonar and help you fish!
Indeed, FishHunter managed to build a small sonar device that can float on the surface of the water. The gadget was orininaly a military-grade sonar transducer that has been shrunk so that it fits into a rubber ball that floats and moves with the current. It can then scan the waters and show if fish are around. FishHunter sends data via Bluetooth to the app on your smartphone. It’s safe to say fish can start worrying.
