Seafarers Week In the UK

Solarglide can proudly announce that today we have become an official sponsor of the seafarers awareness week.

Seafarers Awareness Week, 20-26 June, will promote UK maritime job opportunities, at sea and ashore. It will also focus on increasing young children's knowledge of the UK's historic and ongoing 'island nation' dependence on seafarers.

Building on the success of last year's awareness-raising campaign, Seafarers Awareness Week will publicise helpful sources of employment information, including Careers at Sea, Seavision and the Maritime Skills Alliance.
