The Solarglide team are proud to announce that their SG GLIDER Bridge Solar Screens are now Type Approved by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping). This approval sits alongside the current Lloyds Register of Shipping Type approval, and is the first announcement in a series of new approvals that Solarglide are working towards.

SG GLIDER Bridge Solar Screens are a dynamic retractable blind, that protect crew operating on the bridge from prolonged solar glare. They comply fully with SOLAS regulations for bridge navigational safety and help to reduce interior heat – making the bridge a much more comfortable and productive environment. They are used on vessels globally including Symphony of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas – two of the largest passenger vessels in the world.
