Solarglide jetted off to China last month for the Marintec 2017 Exhibition!

Last month, CEO Mike Pringle and Sales Director Duncan Gaskin flew to China business class (what else?) to get ready for the 4 day marine exhibition in Shanghai!

Marintec China is Asia’s leading event of the global Maritime sector with new industry trends, new technologies and new products. It attracted 2,000+ exhibiting companies and with over 100 events to attend and over 65,000 maritime industry professionals, the pair certainly had a busy week in China!

Mike and Duncan visited Marintec to find the best selling products in the china shipping industry and to try and meet with potential new agents. They also wanted to find who was exhibiting in Marintec who was from Europe to get advice and guidence on the present market conditions in China Maritime.

However, it wasn't all work, as Mike and Duncan enjoyed meeting up with old friends and taking in the culture China has to offer (In Duncans case, this meant drinking a pub or two dry).
