TU Delft at Akkrum Dutch Championships

TU Delft took part in the Dutch Championships in solar boat racing as a test for their brand new boat.

First on-water tests for the TU Delft Solar Boat Team which have participated in the Akkrum Dutch Championships. The first event was the Round of Akkrum which started with a sprint between runners from each team who have to tap their boat before it can leave.

The team sailed 32 km, a first time for their boat to be in the water for so long.

The day was concluded with a sprint which TU Delft finished in 1:13 min at only 30% throttle!
