NoAH Telemedicine System – Travel for Health

NoAH Telemedicine System

The seventh consecutive action of the HYGEIA Corporate Social Responsibility program "Traveling for Health", will take place in the remote islands of Tilos and Nisyros, using TMA's NoAH Telemedicine System portable equipment.

A team of volunteers will offer free health services to the residents of the two islands: Thursday and Friday 6-7 of July at Tilos Elementary School (Livadia) and Saturday and Sunday 8-9 of July at the Primary School of Nisyros (Mandraki).

Through TMA's Noah Telemedicine Case portable equipment, the medical data will be uploaded to TMA's e-Hygeia Telemedicine Cloud EMR server, and patient medical history file will be created, so that residents and physicians can access whenever needed.

The team of volunteers consists of 26 doctors of 16 specialties as well as 34 volunteers from the nursing, technical and administrative staff from HYGEIA Group of Companies. Doctor's specialties are: vascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, gynecologists, dermatologists, cardiologists, neurologists, orthopedists, urologists, ophthalmologists, physicians, pediatricians, pulmonologists, surgeons, plastic surgeons and otolaryngologists.

The "Travel for Health" program was launched in 2013 to meet the needs of the inhabitants of small islands and mountain communities that do not have easy access to medical services.
