WIDER PROTAGONIST @ the 25th Monaco Yacht Show

It’s show time in the yachting industry and WIDER are looking forward to attending the 25th Monaco Yacht Show, from 23 - 26 September, a spectacular location to showcase the uniqueness of the WIDER SUPERYACHT DIVISION.

WIDER is the first yacht builder in the world to offer luxury yachts in the 125’-165’ (38m – 50m) size range with highly efficient diesel electric propulsion system combined with Azimuthal pods and the latest technology in lithium polymer battery power. This arrangement, widely used on much larger yachts and commercial vessels, offers numerous benefits including increased reliability, fuel efficiency, greater range, reduced noise, vibration and maintenance, a shallow draft, greater flexibility of interior layout and 12 hours of complete silence at anchor using battery power alone.

Constructed entirely in aluminum to increase performance and allow for greater freedom and flexibility during the build process, WIDER elegant silhouettes were created by Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with Tilli Antonelli and the in-house WIDER design team.

To get closer to the WIDER superyacht projects, the team will be welcoming visitors at our stand located at Quai de l’Hirondelle 09, where models of the superyachts range and a very explanatory Diesel Electric Simulator will help better understand the functioning of the WIDER propulsion system.

The versatile WIDER 32’ - either a sport day cruiser or a tender for superyachts - shall be on display in the new tender area located at Quai Antoine 1er - the yacht can be inspected at A6 berth - and also the latest Amalfi Zest exemplar of the WIDER Express Cruiser Division will be cruising the Montecarlo bay, as she’s been selected by Y.CO - the well known brokerage company - as a luxury shuttle for their guests.

The WIDER team will be addressing visitor’s attention to their Superyacht Division and in particular to the WIDER 150 – Project GENESI - which is about to launch in these days.
