The Docker -December - Row Away the Winter Blues

AccuDock® recently installed a one of a kind 10 lane start dock at Nathan Benderson State Park as part of the construction of Phase II. Every attention to detail has been paid to ensure every aspect of the rowing facility is top notch, including customized features to make the docks more functional. Some of the aspects that set this world class start dock apart are the retractable finger docks that effortlessly slide in and out to accommodate varying shell lengths and adjustable starting gate platforms that have pivot joints to give each boat holder optimum positioning for holding the shell.

Rowing away the Winter Blues!

For many rowing enthusiasts across the country; winter temperatures are not ideal for getting out onto the water to practice their stroke and get a good training session in. However, drastic improvements in the design and functionality of many indoor rowers (or ERG''s) has given rowing competitors as well as fitness minded people a great option to get a quality workout in while not having to brave the chilling temperatures felt across most of the U.S. during Winter months.

Gym owners and fitness studios everywhere are adding to their repertoire by installing high tech Indoor Rowing machines (ERG''s) where competitors are able to race against each other and fitness enthusiasts are able to track their workout by calories burned, distance, pace, and more.

Liz Swinson – Marketing Manager

One of the newest members of the AccuDock® family is our Marketing Manager, Liz Swinson. Liz joined AccuDock® at the start of this past May and has been a welcomed addition to the team! Liz has over 12 years of Marketing Management experience at bothcorporate and privately owned organizations. She earned her Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing from the University of Miami and her MBA several years later.

Since joining AccuDock®, Liz has made some significant changes and additions to the AccuDock® offering including revamping the entire AccuDock® website, creating new product segmented brochures and marketing material, implementing various email and newsletter campaigns, developing a customer satisfaction survey, and more! We are extremely excited to reveal the additional elements she is currently working on for 2015!
