Almarin launches Balizamar mooring buoys

Following on from the design of Balizamar navigation buoys, Almarin launches the new range of mooring buoys. These are used for mooring of vessels, as well as for supporting containment booms and floating cages used in aquaculture.

These mooring buoys are manufactured with a galvanized steel structure with a safe working load (SWL) of 12.000kg and a foam filled rotomoulded polyethylene hull. There are four available hulls with standard diameters of 1250mm and 1600mm and volumes between 700 and 2500 liters. Each model is available with four mooring designs.

NEW: signalling light by Almarin

The LS 100 lantern is a LED Range Light between 2 and 10NM at TC= 0,74. The vertical divergence and horizontal is 4º at 50% of peak intensity. It's designed for applications requiring short and medium range.

Moreover, it has an optional adjustable pedestal in stainless steel which allows to align easily the beam with assistance of a precision gun sight. The available colours are white, green, red and yellow, following IALA recommendations.

Moreover it has an integrated level indicator that makes horizontal levelling easy. The available colours are white, green, red and yellow, following IALA recommendations.
