The new OST Carbon Furling Mast : DAME 2014 nominee

It is one of the 45 nominations from 116 entries/ 23 nationalities all over the world.

The OST is the first furling mast which is manufactured in a single Autoclave curing (One Shot).

Lighter than the existing carbon masts on the market, the weight saving compared to an aluminium mast is between 30% and 40%.

The OST Carbon Furling Mast AXXON improves comfort on the boat : less pitch, less roll. The mast is stiffer, more efficient.

M32 Series and Axxon Composites

The ‪‎M32 Series‬ has picked up ‪‎Axxon Composites‬ as new supplier for the carbon rig and hardware.

The M32 is a 32-foot boat usually sailed by a crew of four to five. It is designed for both racing and speed cruising, possible to beat a 40-footer in speed. We are very proud of this cooperation with this world class organization and wish them a very successful 2016 season !

1st, 2nd, 3rd at Les Sables-Horta-Les Sables Class40 race

The Class40 race, Les Sables - Horta – Les Sables, started on 28th of June 2015, being splited in two laps. The participants had to sail 2540 miles, in the North Atlantic. The race ended last week, on 20th of July 2015 and even though there were only 8 boats that competed, 4 of them had an Axxon mast.

We are proud that the first 3 places in the general ranking were taken by boats equipped with an Axxon carbon mast.
